Como ya advertí, alguna canción de anime tenía que caer dentro de este tema. Y ese anime es D.Gray-man, que me pareció tan bueno en su momento que lo recomendé durante muchos años. Aún lo seguiría recomendando, si no fuese porque nunca ha llegado a tener un final, ni siquiera tras la secuela Hallow que sacaron muchos años después.

Musician no es un opening ni un ending. Es una canción que aparece en el capítulo 93, cuando la toca y canta el protagonista, Allen Walker, en un momento absolutamente clave de la trama, y tiene un significado muy especial. No diré qué ocurre porque no me gustan los spoilers, pero claramente genera un antes y un después en la historia. Solamente añadiré que también se la conoce como canción del 14º.

Lo cierto es que no tengo claro si Yumi Mitora Kusakurin es realmente quien canta, ni quién es, ni si es un nombre real o un apodo: cuando la busco, los resultados que obtengo son esencialmente esta canción, y también he leído en otra fuente que quien canta es la seiyū (actriz que da voz a un personaje de anime) de Allen Walker, Sanae Kobayashi. En cualquier caso, lo que es evidente es que la voz tiene todo lo necesario para hacer la canción perfecta, sea de quien sea.

Además de Musician, también me encantan dos de los openings de D.Gray-man: Brightdown de Nami Tamaki y Doubt & Trust de Access. Volviendo a la actualidad, otro opening que me gusta bastante es el primero de Sousou no Frieren, Yuusha de YOASOBI. Quedándonos en el anime aunque alejándonos del idioma, otro opening muy bonito es el de Elfen Lied, Lilium, interpretado por Kumiko Noma. Y eso que ni siquiera he visto ese anime.

As I already warned you, some anime song had to occur within this theme. And that anime is D.Gray-man, which I thought was so good at the time that I recommended it for many years. I would still recommend it, if it weren't for the fact that it has never reached an ending, not even after the sequel Hallow that was released many years later.

Musician is neither an opening nor an ending. It is a song that appears during chapter 93, when the main character, Allen Walker, plays and sings it at an absolutely key moment in the plot, and it has a very special meaning. I won't say what happens because I don't like spoilers, but it clearly implies a before and after in the story. I will only add that it is also known as the 14th song.

The truth is I am not sure if Yumi Mitora Kusakurin is really the one who sings, nor who she is, nor if it is a real name or a nickname: when I search for her, the results I get are essentially this song, and I have also read on another source that who sings is Allen Walker's seiyū (actress who voices an anime character), Sanae Kobayashi. In any case, what is crystal clear is that the voice has everything necessary to make the song perfect, irrespective of who she is.

Besides Musician, I also love two of D.Gray-man's openings: Brightdown by Nami Tamaki and Doubt & Trust by Access. Returning to the present, another opening I really like is the first one from Sousou no Frieren, Yuusha by YOASOBI. Staying in the anime yet moving away from the language, another very nice opening is the one of Elfen Lied, Lilium, performed by Kumiko Noma. And I haven't even seen the anime.
